Sukhakarta Foundation is a Maharashtra-based social welfare trust dedicated to uplifting underprivileged communities through education, food security, healthcare, environment and women empowerment programs.
More than a foundation — a family in service of Maharashtra
Sukhakarta Foundation began as a small group of friends pooling resources to help families during festivals — a hot meal here, a school bag there. As word spread, so did the family of volunteers, well-wishers and beneficiaries.
Today, we run year-round programs across Thane and Maharashtra in eight focus areas: education, food, health, environment, women's empowerment, community development, awareness and disaster relief. Every rupee and every hour is accounted for, and every initiative is volunteer-led.
